1. Open to students graduating from School District #79 (Cowichan Valley) and proceeding to post-secondary education or training.
2. Recipient must be of Italian descent (minimum third generation Italian) and whose parent/parents are members in "good standing" of the Cowichan Italian Cultural Society.
3. A letter indicating family background, length of time in Canada, extra-curricular activities and reasons for applying is necessary, and must be attached to "general application form".
4. The applicant need not be a high academic achiever but must show a steady progress in his/her studies. Grade 11 and 12 marks must be included with form.
