Bursary value of up to $TBA

1. Available to any graduating student who is a son/daughter of a Steelworkers, Local 1-1937 member, or to a person who is wholly supported by a member in good standing of Local 1-1937. The wife, son or daughter of a deceased member in good standing at the time of his/her demise, or a member who is retired and was a member in good standing at the time of retirement, shall be eligible to apply.
2. Indication of financial need must be shown.
3. All applicants must be proceeding to any degree-granting university, regional college, B.C.I.T., or to any other accredited vocational or technical school to complete a course leading to establishing a career.
4. Proof of enrollment in a recognized educational institution is required before receiving the scholarship.
5. Estimated final mark for school year must be shown on the application.
6. The Steelworkers Local 1-1937 reserves the right to withhold the scholarship if no candidate has a sufficiently high standard of grade point average.
