Available to a female student graduating from Frances Kelsey
Secondary School in 2008 and continuing her education in a recognized
post-seconary institution, preferably for, but not restricted to, further
study or training in fitness and/or nutrition.
Students must apply for the award
noting that academic progress as well as need will be considered.
Priority
will be given to daughters and granddaughters of
current Curves members or staff, but all female applicants will
be considered.
Upon proof that the student has received confirmation
of acceptance at a post-secondary institute, Curves will send $500
directly to the educational institute be credited toward student
fees. The bursary must be used within 12 months of being awarded.
