$6,000 to be distributed between both scholarships  (either dependent or non-dependent -- you must  check off one or the other on the application form).

1. Student must be graduating from a high school in an area where Catalyst Paper is a major employer OR be a dependent of an employee of the Crofton Operation, beginning their first year of post-secondary education.
2. Must be attending a full-time programme at any recognized post-secondary institution immediately after graduation.
3. Available to graduating grade 12 students only.
4. Based on academic standing, and must demonstrate leadership and citizenship qualities.

Procedure:

1. Special Application available in the Counselling Office.
2. Handwritten cover letter is mandatory.
