The purpose of this Scholarship is to encourage and assist students in attainment of higher education in the field of auto mechanics. The Scholarship is open to a graduating student of School District #79 (Cowichan Valley). The student must be proceeding to a post-secondary institution to further his/her studies in the field of auto mechanics.

1. The selection committee may exercise it's discretion regarding academic qualifications. This may include community service, voluntary work done in the school or other interests that the committee deems worthy of recognition. These additional qualifications will not preempt the original purpose of the scholarship.
2. This award will be paid to the student upon proof of registration and payment of course fees. Consideration will be given to deferring payment for one year upon written request.
